it's common to feel an imposter syndrome type feeling when we realize we haven't been practicing our practice. That is a feeling I have gotten on and off over the last 12 and a half years. Why do I think I can help to train and inspire new students? But when I get back on course I realize it is normal to do that from time to time. The important thing is that you see it in yourself and then do something about it.

I feel pretty lucky to be able to live an open life. Though I still hesitate to tell new people until I get a feel for them. At work, I was the front desk/ circulation clerk at a college library for 13 years. in that time I saw a lot of students who wanted to know more about Wicca, and our section on it was largely cultivated by my own suggestions to the selection team. I used to direct searchers to that area. I even participated in a human library event as a book on 3 occasions. (my tittle was Living Wiccan in a Modern World) That ended up being my big coming out moment at work. my coworkers at the library all knew.. because they all saw the books I recommended and read. and during my summer of debate when I actually changed... I talked to anyone who would listen about my ideas.
