Wow. Just wow. Davina, your writing is incredible and your experience with Cerridwen is powerful, to say the least. I can see why you are called to her and, interestingly, why I have been called to her for decades. She has long been my patron Goddess and while I work with others as needed, studying, learning, and calling upon them for wisdom and guidance, sometimes to run interference while I gather myself, I always come back to her.

As far as your son goes and the struggle you're having, I can so relate to your story and can tell you that you are doing the very best thing for him by getting this done now. I waited out of the same concerns you've expressed and because of that my youngest is now and adult and getting him tested, let alone recognized, is near impossible. It's been an exercise in frustration for us all and has made me wish I wasn't so fearful of what might be earlier in his life. Had I done it then and gotten a diagnosis that I'm confident he has, his adult life would be less stressful for him and he would have access to programs and assistance that he simply doesn't now.
