So I have to use a statue of a Dragon for a spell I'm doing... I'm using a statue that I made for my daughter (She's letting me borrow it.) But because of the location the statue was made, I feel like I should cleanse it prior to using it in the spell. (There might be lingering energies) Usually I leave things out under the moon, but I'm scared of breaking the dragon. How would I best cleanse it? Would a smoke cleanse suffice?

yes, a smoke cleanse would be great and it is a dragon statue so also fitting.

A smoke cleanse would be most fitting indeed for a dragon. Depending on the dragon type (color etc) you can add to the smoke cleanse pretty easily. Selenite and black tourmaline are both natural cleansing stones so if you put one of each with it then you can pull the energies out and replace them after the cleansing with something for your daughter and her space.
