So quick update... People I talk too that travel for supplies are becoming less and less. A lot has settled down, and many people are just happy they are alive. The devastation was bad and many seem conflicted on if this was the worst. Less and less people from Louisiana have been coming to Gulfport for supplies. So it gives me some peace of mind. I feel they are starting to get supplies back into their hometowns, and people are not having to travel for hours in search for supplies.
I am currently working on a little project to get baby blankets to the people who need them. I been working on crocheting the baby blanks. I am a little rusty because the last blanket I crochet was years ago, 13 years to be exact and it will be 14 in December. I still feel this winter will be a harsh one, and I want to try and help others to prepare as best as I can.
Someone is to contact me about where I can send supplies I gather, but I haven't heard anything yet. So I might just go myself when I am ready and able. I still pray that all is well. I hope those in our community that was hit by the storm are safe and well. If anyone knows of someone needing anything let me know, and I will do my very best to help or find someway to direct them for help.
