There is always a silver lining! While this is a terrible situation, I would like to thank the Chinese hackers for giving me a paid day off of work today. Hafnium, a group of hackers operating out of China, found a vulnerability in the Microsoft Email Exchange Server and over 60,000 organizations (so far) have been hit including ours. They are targeting companies in the US, but they are hitting companies globally. Any company that uses a Microsoft Email Exchange is getting hit, even small Mom & Pop businesses (that is tragic). We got word at 6:30 am to shut down our computers and not go back on until notified. Word now is, no work for today. They are keeping us all off our laptops so they can test and patch everything.

WooHoo! I actually needed a break. I've been working non-stop since Oct/Nov, 2020. I'm going to work on my homework and get outside. It will be 61 degrees Fahrenheit here today.
