🎄How Does it Work?🎄

The Yule Exchange is open to all US students. However, due to currency exchange and international shipping costs, we cannot offer it to international students.

To sign up, you must express your desire to join the exchange by sending a private message to Lady Lilyth no later than NOVEMBER 26th at 5 pm PACIFIC (8 pm Eastern). This is the ONLY way to sign up for the exchange.

In your message, please include the following information: Mundane Name, Address, Contact Phone Number.

You will receive a confirmation with complete details and participation instructions. Participation messages must be received NO LATER than 5 pm PACIFIC on November 26th. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

This event is time-sensitive, and we must be strict to be fair to all participants. Thank you for your understanding! You can also find a confirmation list within the Yule Exchange Group here: https://sacredmistscircle.com/....yule-exchange. Pleas double-check within 24 hours that we have you. By early morning on the 26th, we will have it updated with everyone we have received requests to participate from.

Once all the messages are in, we will randomly pair participants from the list with their secret Yule gift partners. You will get your Yule Buddy on November 27/28. Remember, it is to be kept secret who your partner is until the day of the Gift Exchange parties during the Yule Sabbat Rituals!!!

🎄How Much Will This Cost?🎄

The target gift amount is $25.00 (not including shipping). You can spend more than this if you'd like, but we request that, in fairness to all participants, you strive to be as close to the $25.00 mark, before tax/shipping costs, at a minimum. Thank you!

🎄Where Can I Purchase Gifts to Send?🎄

All gifts must be purchased from and shipped through Sacred Mists Shoppe only. I'll preempt the next question, 'Why do I have to do this through the Shoppe?" The answer is simple. We have done this differently in the past, and unfortunately, many students did not receive their gifts. Of course, we made sure that Sacred Mists sent those who did not receive a gift from their gift exchange partner; however, we need to minimize this risk, and this is one of the best ways to do so—additionally, purchases through the Shoppe help to support the Academy. There's a two-fold benefit to your gifts: bringing a smile to your gift partner's face and supporting your Circle! For these reasons, the Yule Exchange is run only through the Shoppe.


All gift orders must be received by 12/09. This year, we will begin shipping on December 12 to ensure that everyone participating receives their gifts before Yule.

🎄How will I know what to buy?🎄

You and all participants can create wishlists in the Sacred Mists Shoppe. At enrollment, all new students receive their shop account details via email. You can register using your email address anytime if you do not have an account. When you do, let me know so I can apply the student status to your account.

🎄When will we open our gifts?🎄

Oh, now that's another part of the fun! During each of the two Yule Sabbat Rituals, we will have Gift Exchange opening parties where we will open our partners' gifts. To help ensure each partner attends the appropriate ritual, we will have created a thread in the Yule Exchange Group where you can send your thanks.

Your secret gift exchange partner will see that and do all they can to sync with you on the time (day or evening ritual, Pacific time). Believe me, this is SO MUCH FUN and a fabulous bonding experience. We hope many of you will be able to participate. Last year's gift opening was just wonderful, and the excitement could be felt across the screen.

🎄Is there anything else I should know right now?🎄

We can't stress enough that time is of the essence in preparing and executing this popular annual event. As noted above, there can be no exceptions to the deadlines.

Please remember that this is an exciting and enjoyable event for all involved! As such, if you sign up to participate, it is critically important that you follow through with your intention and complete the process. If you are unsure, please refrain from signing up. When you receive a name, know that someone else has received yours, and they trust that you will do your part. You'll receive information on how we will work with you to obtain information that you will receive from Sacred Mists to confirm order placement and shipment.
