Merry meet to one and all!

As you know, the Sacred Mists Esbat Program is in place to provide you with monthly online rituals to celebrate the moon and allow you to step into the role of Esbat leader. What do you need to host an esbat ritual? Read on, dear friends, read on!

To host an esbat ritual, you must have completed lesson 13 in the Wiccan Degree Training Program. If you have not yet completed this lesson or are a member of one of our other training programs, never fear there is a way for you to host an esbat, too! To host an esbat without having reached the requisite lesson, all you need to do is submit via email a request to host an esbat with examples of rituals you have previously written or led. If you have not yet written one of your own, we encourage you to try and send it in for us to look at, and we will help you get where you need to be for hosting a ritual with Sacred Mists Academy in our online chatrooms.

Include in the subject you are requesting esbat hosting or assistance with that, and I will be glad to help you. We will provide approved hosts with an esbat framework that can be customized for your ritual. This is not required for use but gives you an example of how the flow of an esbat should work. Additionally, we will provide general correspondence lists for the chosen month. Your esbat must be submitted for review one month before the date of your ritual to allow for any wiggling or changes that may need to happen. We will create an event for the calendar, and you can interact with attendees through that directly should you choose. You will not be alone in this and will have our full support every step of the way!
