Tess Whitehurst has an Angel Magic Oracle Deck that is simply divine in its artwork and write up. When I met her last June in Salem, she called Micheal the Archangel to our circle and he arrived in blinding white light. My sister and I both felt our mom's presence too. Now, I don't believe the Christian mythology is true for me. So I have a hard time categorizing angels. Mono-theistic religions call them messengers of their God. The word "Angel" is translated from the Greek word "angelos" which means messenger. They were sent as warning signs to guide people in bad times and give them comfort. Western Religions see them (and demons too actually) as celestial or atmospheric spirits which could be benevolent or malevolent but not deities. However, angels are very powerful, and if they choose to work with you it is an incredible gift! I can't deny the power I felt in that room. I do however need to say that Archangels do not qualify as deities for the Sacred Mists Deity focus. Which does not stop you from honoring them on your own at all, but they haven't been recognized by a culture as their deities.
