This song is a banishing ritual! Whether intended or not...

Hear me out. The first verse says:

I'm standing here on the ground/
The sky above won't fall down/
See no evil in all directions

I interpret that as: acknowledge the land, acknowledge the sky, acknowledge the quarters, cast a circle of protection.

I have always thought this song was powerful, it really moves me and brings out feelings of joy. It allows me to tap into emotions that I might not be able to reach any other way. I'm just surprised that it took me this long to make this connection.

I've used this song to choreograph my own banishing ritual that I preform with this song playing loudly. It is very powerful and full of energy.
