Hang in there dear one, the Deity Studies are meant to help you find a true connection with the gods/goddesses just like you did with Hecate! She has a great deal to say and many witches look to her for guidance, I am so glad for you. PS you write beautifully, I enjoy your thoughts very much.

FIrst I will say that I'm very happy to hear of your connection to this Goddess of Witches and Crossroads, Keeper of the Keys. She is amazing, beautiful, and fearful all at the same time. I honor Her and know how much can be learned by connecting with Her. Then, I have admit to the Circle that I have felt the same way about deity focuses for each lesson. I completely understand the reasoning behind it as a way for us all to gain knowledge of history, mythology and hopefully to find our true deity connections but I feel it has also held me back at times. Every deity that we try to connect with deserves due respect and that takes time to develop through research and preparation. My only thought on that is to maybe change the schedule of deity focuses to every other lesson? I don't know.....I love the Mists but that's probably my only criticism as well.
