During the first time I was part of this coven, I was battling negativity. I found ways to combat it.
For one, I make it a point to keep bright lights on in whichever room I am sitting. Number two, as I have a mood disorder, I stay on my meds and am completely transparent with my psychiatric nurse. Thirdly, I light two candles on my altar, every evening, during my devotions to God and Goddess. One candle is a red votive in a heart shaped holder. It is for contemplating love of God, love of self, and love of all fellow creatures. The other candle is a white votive and is a reminder to meditate on the effects of controlling others and generally thinking negatively about them and myself. I also prominently display my chalice to remind me to seek love, not offense. I keep a clean and tidy house and, occasionally spiritually cleanse it.
All of these practices are working wonderfully! Sometimes I feel a lack of energy (my mood disorder), but I fight it with lights, prayer, and communicating with my sister and my best friend.
Bless you all!
