So my fur fam is growing. It may be only temporary but I have a feeling it will end up being a permanent arrangement. And my pendulum tends to agree with me. My roommate’s friend has decided to move to Costa Rica and doesn’t want to drive down with her cat. She originally asked for a Foster for 6 months while she finds a job and a place to live. or decides if she is staying down there. But She got the cat suddenly in Hawaii while she was grieving a few years ago. She isn’t a cat person and was actually pretty surprised she even got her. She was 3 weeks old had been in a kill shelter and rescued hours before she was to be incinerated. She had an injured eye and ear but was otherwise pretty healthy. The cat rescue that saved her is run by a friend of the one who took her home to the mainland and is now going to Costa Rica, almost 3 years later. Since she isn’t much of a cat person, and gave her up 2 to 3 weeks before she is actually leaving. It just feels to me like she is going to end up asking me if I will keep her if it looks like she bonds with me. The other day she came to visit and her cat of nearly 3 years rubbed back and forth on my legs and wouldn’t go to her until she sat on the floor and scooched up to her. And even then she kept running back to me. She just said she was glad she was happy. She is very tiny. Only about 6 pounds. Loki is not happy. Magick could care less. Misty Mae is curious but she is not wanting to really meet them yet. And she is not too fond of DJ yet though she isn’t spitting at him anymore. DJ would like to be friends. If only so he can eat her food. Her name is Morpheus…. That’s right SHE was named after the God of Dreams. And it just kills me. Even calling her Morphie sounds bad to me. Sounds like Morphine which maybe Morphine was named after Morpheus… idk. I’m on a search for a name she will accept because apparently she liked Morpheus
