I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but here goes.
For the deity focus, can you do things other than meditations and rituals to connect with the deities? And if so, do you have any ideas of things I could do?. I'm finding it very...disorienting? to connect with a deity through a guided meditation or ritual and then switch to another one when the lesson is over. I know I could take the lessons at a slower pace, but I don't really want to do that; I like the pace I'm going through the lessons, it's just the deity focus that feels a little off.

The purpose of these exercises is to learn about deities in a polytheistic practice. You do not have to have a full relationship with them but youc an begin with easy and small things, letting them know you are working on your path and that you chose them to learn more about for this lesson. You can also include that as a part of this you choose a new one each lesson and that you may not reach out to work with them for a while or at all. When we respectfully share why we are reaching out, we are not only sharing with them but enforcing that thought with ourselves. It can be a bit of a yo-yo feeling when we delve deeply.
Not every ineraction will be answered and not everone will be as deep as some. Some of them will want to work with you later and they will let this be known for you.
