Has anyone ever had trouble connecting with a deity they chose for the lessons? I can't seem to make a connection with mine, and I've tried multiple times. Any advise is welcome!

I have had trouble and been frustrated as well. One thing that I have realized is that focusing on a deity involves learning about them but does not mean that we should EXPECT to connect with them. We cannot force interactions like that. I pick deities that I'm interested in and/or that may have a quality that I'm looking to gain from. That way, no matter what happens, I learn and grow from the focus.

Sometimes, the lack of a connection is the answer. We cannot always connect with a deity we do the focus on for one of many reasons. Maybe they have no answers for you at that time. Maybe it's not the right time to connect with them, and more work/study is needed before that connection can be made. Maybe you aren't meant to work with them in this lifetime. Or any other myriad of reasons. If you are making an honest and earnest attempt to connect, and still don't feel that connection, then talk about that and how you went about setting yourself up to connect and the end results.
