I went to go visit the grave of a recently deceased and dear friend of mine today. I took a small key and piece of obsidian that I had already incorporated in a ritual to Hekate. As I poked those into the Earth on the side of her grave and sent my intention into the Universe:
Keeper of the keys,
Bearer of torches,
Hekate....
Goddess of the Crossroads...
I call on you.
With these tokens I show my devotion.
Please guide my friend thru the Underworld and unlock the gates to the Light.
Show her the way and protect her , for she is ever loved and loved all.
I thank You for Your presence and wish You farewell.
